C.S.A. stands for Community Support Agriculture. At Mountain Heartbeet this means that as a community member you make a seasonal commitment to supporting local agriculture by purchasing a portion – commonly referred to as a ‘share’ – of the harvest to come.

Together we enter into a relationship where I, the farmer, has the financial support needed to do what I love, which is growing wholesome, flavorful, organic vegetables. And you, the supporters, have my promise to receive a diverse and equitable share of these vegetables. We all reap the rewards of the abundance each season offers. When you visit the farm each week to pick up your share, we get to build a relationship that enables complete transparency as well as space for conversation about how your food is grown. I take your commitment to buying local and seasonal food seriously and will provide you with the best the farm has to offer each week!

By joining the CSA, each week we all have the opportunity to connect to the land and each other by picking out vegetables, sharing stories, recipes, jokes, and food! Food is my favorite way to bring people together and I can’t wait to share it with you and yours.
